It really makes sense: to have a video on the registration page of a free online dating site that gives the newest members some tips on how to handle the registration process after they submit the form. That's exactly what I did on my free dating site registration page for my newest members.

The first tip I gave them was to check their inbox for their activation link. I know it sounds silly but there are so many people in the world that bounce from ever coming back to your site because they aren't aware of the fact that they have to activate their account first. I also informed them that if the link isn't in their inbox to check their spam folder.

The second free online dating tip was to warn them about not giving out their personal information on the site - namely their bank account information, their social insurance/security numbers or their home addresses. The last tip was just to be as nice and honest as possible just for the simple fact that it will get them farther along and more successful on the site and of course in life.

It's a little embarrassing posting a video of myself doing this but at least my free dating site members who aren't too web savvy can learn something.
